Everyone superhero has a sidekick and it's no different when it comes to hunting. Every bird hunter, no matter what kind of bird you hunt, you have your "sidekick" next to you ready to retrieve your birds for the day.

Meet the Sidekicks
Diesel
Diesel is Bryce and Kimberlee Burmeister’s furry hunting sidekick. Diesel is a 2 year old English lab who lives for hunting and being in the field, whether it is upland or waterfowl. His training started right off the bat at 8 weeks old and he’s done nothing but exceed all of our expectations for him! This year will be his second year in the field and we can’t wait to see how well he does!
Jules

Jules is Bryce and Kimberlee Burmeister's second hunting sidekick. Jules is a 5 year old English lab. Jules came to us 2 years ago from a Amish puppy mill, after not getting to be a dog for 3 years of his life it took a little bit of time to get him into the swing of things, once he found out what birds were, there was no turning back. Jules is an exceptional hunting dog and does anything we ask him to, this will be Jules second year hunting with us and we are so proud of how far he has come. Really goes to show that you can teach a old dog new tricks.
Jenny

Jenny is Bryce and Kimberlee Burmeister's third hunting sidekick. She is a 3 year old English setter. Jenny was tossed around before we saw a post on Facebook for her, she was listed as a free hunting dog with behavior issues. We took the drive to Indiana to meet this pretty girl, when we got there we were told that she would never be able to hunt with or be around other dogs, she couldn’t be trusted with cats, and she was unpredictable. 6 months into having her and she lives happily with 3 other dogs and a cat. Jenny is one of the prettiest pointing dogs I’ve met, she can find birds like nobody’s business and will back other dogs extremely well, this sweet girl just needed a home that would give her time and patience. We are so happy to have her, and can’t wait to hunt with her this year.
Kubota
Kubota is Tanner Grimm's hunting sidekick. Kubota is a 4 year old black lab that I got as a 8 week old puppy from my cousin in Wichita Kansas. He is a pointing lab. From the beginning he was always great at finding and retrieving birds. At 7 months old Kubota retrieved his first wood duck! Not long after that he was in the field flushing pheasants and quail. Even though he is a pointing lab I never knew how to train him to point! I was just happy with him being a flusher. Then one day when he was 2 years old he pointed at his first pheasant, and he held point for over a minute! Even though it was a hen I was so proud. Now he enjoys going around the house and is constantly holding point on flies till I say, Kubota. He is a huge member of this family and the best hunting companion!
